Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Supervise and assist in the safe loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper techniques are used.
Positioning Loads: Direct the movement of loads to ensure they are positioned accurately and safely.
Equipment Checks: Ensure that all lifting equipment is in good condition and suitable for the task, including checking for wear and defects.
Emergency Procedures: Be familiar with emergency protocols and procedures, ready to act quickly in case of an incident.
Coordination with Other Trades: Work closely with other trades and personnel on-site to ensure smooth operations and avoid conflicts.
