The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telescopic forklift safely and efficiently on-site, assisting with the movement of materials, and supporting the construction team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a telescopic forklift to transport materials around the site.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Assist in general site duties when required.
- Perform routine safety checks and maintenance of the equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Work closely with site managers, contractors, and other team members.
- Must hold a valid Blue CPCS or NPORS (CSCS Affiliated) Telescopic Forklift Operator card.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience operating a telescopic forklift.
- Ability to provide at least two references from previous employers.
- Strong understanding of site safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts if required.
