This role is ideal for candidates with a strong commitment to railway safety standards, a proven track record of reliability, and the ability to work day and night shifts.
As a PTS Site Warden, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of personnel working on or near railway lines, maintaining compliance with Personal Track Safety (PTS) protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee site safety and ensure adherence to railway operational protocols.
- Provide clear and concise communication to workers and supervisors.
- Monitor and manage access to railway work zones.
- Identify and mitigate risks on-site in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with Personal Track Safety standards.
- Assist with shift handovers and maintain accurate records.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.
- Have a Primary Sponsor or possess a valid Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) certificate issued within the last three months.
- Provide two references from previous employers or supervisors.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be available for weekend shifts (day and night work available).
