The role involves entering a clean confined space (a newly built vessel that has only contained clean water) to carry out basic manual tasks under the direction of the site supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter the confined space safely, following all health & safety protocols
- Carry out general manual tasks as instructed – no hazardous material handling involved
- Follow the instructions of the on-site supervisor and work as part of a team
- Ensure all confined space procedures and safety measures are followed at all times
- Valid CSCS card – essential
- City & Guilds Medium or High Risk Confined Space Certification – essential
- Previous confined space experience preferred
- Good level of physical fitness and awareness of safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions precisely
- The vessel is new and has only contained clean water – no exposure to waste or contaminants
- All necessary PPE will be provided
- Immediate start available
- Potential for further work on similar projects
