Teamforce Labour is seeking an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join a long-term civil engineering project in Newhaven, BN9. This role is ideal for individuals with relevant experience, a strong commitment to health and safety, and a proven track record in operating heavy machinery efficiently.

You will be responsible for operating a loading shovel to move, load, and manage materials such as aggregates, soil, and waste. The role requires a keen eye for safety, precision, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

Hold a valid CPCS/NPORS Loading Shovel Operator ticket
Proven experience in operating a loading shovel in a construction or quarrying environment
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and ability to follow site instructions
Must have a valid Primary Sponsor or a valid Drugs & Alcohol (D&A) test within the last 3 months
Provide an up-to-date CV detailing relevant experience and qualifications

Shift Details:
  • Monday to Friday, with weekend work available
  • 8-hour shifts, with overtime opportunities
  • Ongoing project
