This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in welding and burning operations, who can work efficiently and safely on-site.
You must have your own welding and burning equipment and be fully qualified to work in a construction or rail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality welding and burning tasks in accordance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Carry out structural steel and general welding work as required.
- Ensure all work meets the necessary safety and industry standards.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in safe working order.
- Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times.
✔ Hold a valid CSCS card (essential).
✔ PTS (Sentinel) card (preferred but not essential).
✔ Have your own welding and burning equipment (mandatory).
✔ Provide an up-to-date CV detailing relevant experience and qualifications.
✔ Be able to provide at least two references from previous employers.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience in structural steel welding or working within rail or construction environments.
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Various shifts available, depending on the project requirements.
- Potential for overtime and weekend work.
