Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Confined Spaces Topman to join our deep drainage gang in Milton Keynes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in confined spaces, be knowledgeable about drainage systems, and possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems in confined spaces.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support operatives working in confined spaces by providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Monitor and manage air quality and conditions within confined spaces, reporting any issues to the Site Supervisor.
- Conduct pre-entry checks and ensure all safety equipment is in place and functioning.
- Maintain clear communication with team members, especially during rescue operations and emergency situations.
- Participate in site inspections and contribute to risk assessments and safety briefings.
- Assist with the training of new team members on confined space operations and safety practices.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to site policies and procedures.
